Undergraduate students who are interested in community mental health often seek opportunities to volunteer or carry out formal internships through our agency.  At any given time, we accept 1 to 2 undergraduate interns.  Undergraduate interns typically work with our Administrative Coordinator conducting "special projects" including completing quality assurance activities, conducting research projects, or other support activities.  Undergraduate interns are often given the opportunity to "shadow" case management staff and consult with other clinical staff.

All interns must pass a background check and drug screening.  Interns must be available for a minimum of 8 hours a week, for a minimum of 10 weeks, with preference being given to persons who are looking for a longer internship experience.

For more information about our undergraduate internship experience, please contact Shawna Watts at (740) 687-0042.
