Municipal Court Program

Population Served/Target Population:  Adults involved with the Fairfield County Municipal Court who have mental health needs.

Admission Criteria:  

1. Referral by judge, mental health probation officer, attorneys, or other court representative.
2. Municipal Court system involvement.
3. Willingness to participate.

Treatment Plan Goals:

1. Court identified treatment goals to help reduce the likelihood of future criminal involvement.

2. Therapist and client identified goals to facilitate the achievement of the court identified goals.

3. Utilization of case management services to develop community support if appropriate.

Model of Treatment:  Cognitive-Behavioral/Relapse Prevention.  Recovery Model. 

Performance/Discharge Criteria:  Satisfactory completion of Treatment Plan Goals, including no further criminal behavior.

Payments Accepted: 

1. Cash
2. Medicaid
3. Sliding Scale (for residents of Fairfield County)
